3 Hand-Painted Square Plates — Inspired by Kitaoji Rosanjin
This set of three small square plates is a utsushi—a respectful reproduction inspired by the work of Kitaoji Rosanjin, one of Japan’s most influential ceramic artists and aesthetes.
Each plate reflects Rosanjin’s characteristic approach: bold brushwork, asymmetry, and the belief that tableware is a form of living art, meant to elevate everyday meals.
